On a sweltering August day, (110 heat index to be exact) this summer, our wonderful Account Associate Emily Smith became Mrs. Moore. We could not be happier for the couple and are thrilled to share some photos from their special day.
The wedding ceremony and reception were held at one of our favorite event venues in Virginia, Shadow Creek. The rustic, chic, upscale barn venue was the perfect setting for the couple to wed and entertain their guests.
While Emily is a fabulous planner and designer, she knew she wanted to enjoy her special day without worrying about the details. She hired Kelsey Rae Designs to handle the planning and was very pleased with her experience.
We were so excited with Emily and Ben decided to go with RSVP Catering for their wedding menu. They are such a sweet and fun couple, we knew their menu had to match their personalities. Ben is from Boston, and Emily from the area so we incorporated Lobster and Crab specialties, with a summer flair. The couple chose to serve a fresh papaya and blueberry mesclun salad and Meyer Lemon Red Snapper for their dinner. The sweetest ending was the funfetti wedding cake and the adorable miniature pie station, (Emily loves to bake!) The details of the menu were custom to their personalities, fresh and seasonal.
